Feeding Instructions
- Introduce the feed to pregnant sows just before farrowing.
- Feeding rate is 3 kg per sow per day.
- AFTER farrowing, daily feeding rate should change to 1.5 kg per sow PLUS allowance of 0.5 kg for every live piglet.
Example: After farrowing 12 piglets, a sow should be fed 1.5 + (0.5 x 12) = 7.5 kg of feed per day.
